Learn to know the Italian cuisine
of the Oltrepo Pavese

A stay at Villa I Due Padroni become even more fun if you learn to discover the traditional dishes of the Oltrepo Pavese.

The restaurants and wine farms are very accessible which means that you can easily go on a discovery tour yourself.

We could however also make it easy for you and offer the introduction to the Oltrepo cuisine by way of a culinary arrangement.

The culinary arrangement

The arrangement we propose consists of:

A welcoming surprise consisting of:

-a bottle of spumante Oltrepo Pavese

-some traditional antipasti

-a touristic guide of the Oltrepo
Three dinners and lunch on Sunday:

-Saturdag (day of arrival), diner at Ristorante Il Menhir, e.g. fish specialities

-Sunday, the typically Italian lunch at a restaurant of the region, to be determined

-Thursday, dinner at wine specialist Enoteca Uva Rara, St Maria della Versa

-Friday exquiste dishes of the region at Ristorante La Verde Sosta, Montecalvo
A cooking class on Tuesday at Ristorante Bagarellum, including lunch
wine tasting at one of the cantina of the region, like Travaglino, incl. the possibility of buying the local wines.
A guided tour at a grapperia, e.g. La Versa or Il Montù, incl. tasting
A farewell surprise

All dinners are fixed menu and those of Saturday and Sunday (lunch) include wine.

The Enoteca and La Verde Sosta like advise you a wine of their collection, in good company with the dishes served and you pay these wines separately.

If you wish we could extend the arrangement even to 5 meals, thus including Monday and Wednesday.

The whole arrangement will cost you ca. 195 euro for each person and 75 euro per child till 12 years of age*.

The arrangement thus presented is our proposal, but we could vary it, according to your wishes. This is Italy!
