I Due Padroni

We, Nico and Stef, are the two "padroni" or the owners of the villa. Our little fox-terrier Saar regarded us as her masters, but unfortunately she passed away in 2009. We are now the happy "padroni" of Thomas.

In 2008 we have moved together to this beautiful location in Italy, not only to enjoy "la dolce vita" ourselves, but also because we want to make others familiar with this undiscovered area.

How it came about

After a few month of searching, during a half-year sabbatical leave in the historic town of Pavia, we found the house of our dreams in this wonderful spot in the hills of the Oltrepò Pavese. We said farewell to our jobs and study and emigrated to Italy.

We have renovated the house to make it even more suitable for us and our guests. For example, a swimming pool and a large sun-terrace with a panoramic view on the valley are realized.

Up and running

In 2009 the Villa opened its doors! Although we still have limited experience in the hospitality business, we are full of energy and enthusiasm. We are sure to make your stay a pleasant one and we hope to share our fascination for this part of Italy with you.
